With the WA Day festival cancelled in the wake of CO-VID19, Western Australians will have a new way to get their music fix.
State of the Art, or SOTA for short, are more than making up for their own cancelled ‘SOTA Fest’ with a streamed lineup that lasts for more than six hours.
The socially distant event has been dubbed ‘SOTAStream’, and will still expose some of the best WA talent to the public, all from the comfort of their own homes.
Kicking off with Carla Geneve at 2pm, the music keeps going with Gina Williams & Guy Ghouse, Methyl Ethyl, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Abbe May, San Cisco before Perth’s own hip-hop export Drapht wraps it all up at 8pm.
Interested listeners can tune in at RTRFM, PerthNow or the SOTA Facebook.
