The Fremantle Dockers might be the younger of the two AFL sides, but in the AFLW, the Purple and White showed they’re the dominant force in town, downing new girls West Coast Eagles 9.6 (60) to 2.3 (15).
The Dockers almost matched their all-time record score of 10.7 (67) before play was brought to a halt in front of an impressive 35, 185 crowd.
The $3 entry for the match broke the mould with most AFLW games offering free entry however the money raised will be donated to the Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund.
Kiara Bowers, who finished the game with 18 tackles also had a different tackle to her name, as she shirtfronted an animal rights streaker, who made their way onto the field.
The loss sees the West Coast Eagles go 0-2 from their inaugural endeavours while Fremantle go top of Conference B after their dominating performance.
