Lights out as Wanneroo racing back in June

Put yourself into Top Gear, West Australian Motor Racing is back and ready to rock again.

The WA Sporting Car Club this week announced that motorsport in WA will return on Sunday June 21st with its annual June race meeting.

According to Events Manager Cameron Smith at the WA Sporting Car Club, the event will run in compliance with government restrictions and the Motorsport Australia ‘Ready To Race” guidelines to ensure the meeting will be run safely and without any concerns for COVID-19.

They were originally meant to run the Nightmasters meeting back in late March but the developing situation of the Coronavirus pandemic forced the WASCC to postpone all racing until they were allowed by the state government to return.

No racing categories have been confirmed at this time but more information will come when they are available.
