WA Police are currently investigating a hit-and-run that occured earlier in the week, on Wednesday in Darling Downs at approximately 5.20pm
A red sedan, believed to be a Hyundai, was travelling east on Eleventh Road before it turned right onto South Western Highway and collided with a green Toyota Camry travelling north on the South Western Highway.
The impact forced the Toyota Camry off the road and it struck a tree with the 30-year-old victim receiving minor injuries.
The driver of the red car then fled the scene and accelerated away towards Byford with alleged significant front damage.
In addition, Major Crash Investigators continue to investigate a crash in Viveash that also occured on Wednesday.
A 37-year-old man has been charged with several traffic offences but investigators are still determining the movements of the dark coloured sedan.
It is believed the sedan involved stopped on Johns Street in Midland just after the crash.
Investigators would like to speak to any person who saw a dark coloured sedan parked along Johns Street near a car yard around the above time, and to anyone who may have spoken to the driver of that sedan.
Investigators are urging anyone who saw either crash, has dash-cam footage, or saw either vehicle driving in the area before the crash to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
