Police investigating riverside indecent act

Belmont Police are on the lookout for a middle aged man after he indecently exposed himself to two teenage girls on Friday evening.

Around 5.45pm, the two girls were in a kayak on the Swan River in Ascot.

The man, described as light skinned, 35-45 years of age, medium build and unshaven, was at the nearby Hilton Grove car park, when he exposed himself and committed an indecent act within eye shot of the teenagers who immediately fled the scene and alerted their parents.

The man was wearing a blue jumper with a white horizontal stripe on the front, brown shorts and a blue beanie.

Police are requesting any nearby passersby who may have seen what had happened to contact them immediately.

Anyone with information in relation to the incident, dash-cam vision, CCTV or mobile phone vision from the vicinity around the time of the incident are asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.

A vehicle was seen leaving the Hilton Grove car park around the time of the incident. Police would like to identify the driver and any occupants of a white Toyota Tarago.
