Approximately 30 students have been left shaken after their school bus hit a tree this morning outside Bridgetown in the state’s South West on Monday.
About 8:30am Police were notified of the crash, near the intersection of Lefroy Road and Walter Road.
Early indications are that the school bus entered a water-filled ditch on the side of the road and then slid sideways up against a tree.
The bus driver managed to disembark all passengers from the vehicle.
One of the passengers, a 14-year-old boy, was taken to hospital with a suspected shoulder injury as a precaution.
St John Ambulance and Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel attended the scene.
